Sara & Evan
When the bride is your kind of girl – a native New Yorker studying interior design with great taste – you’re sure to have even more fun planning the design details of the wedding weekend. Sara and Evan dreamed of getting married on the beach in front of Sara’s family home but decided it was more practical to head a few steps down the road to a beach club which could comfortably fit their 200 guests. Aside from Happy Menocal’s fabulous invitation suite and a dreamland of bohemian florals by Saipua, our favorite detail was ending the night with an array of miniature wedding cakes of varying styles and flavors. We adore this couple and everything about their wedding.
“We chose to work with Jill because the minute we met her we knew she was the right fit. She’s exudes a laid-back bohemian spirit and, in a sense, that’s how we wanted our wedding to feel too! We never felt stressed throughout the planning process, as so many people do, and we attribute that to Jill’s organization and experience. Planning a wedding is supposed to be fun – make sure you have some! Working with Jill made that easy.”
